Tom Pugh Jones

I left Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Business Management and from there I started my career in London working for the Superyacht Industries’ leading publishing house. Following on from this, I continued working in the superyacht industry in the London Insurance Markets. Whilst working for the publishing house, I’d be delving in to companies’ stories on a daily basis, offering a 360 consultative approach on how to best deliver results for a varying range of marketing budgets. This acted as a great foundation for me, to really understand a vast range of businesses, offering them varying marketing opportunities leading to great ROI’s.

I get excited by the finer details of successful companies to gain a real understanding of who they are, where they’ve come from and ultimately where they want to be in the future. I’ve always been fascinated by business; this is where my passion for people and business led to Progress People.

Jolyon Ferrier

I have always had a passion for personal development and enabling people to achieve their professional goals in life, so starting a company where we actively encourage both individuals and businesses to thrive together seemed the logical step in my career.

I graduated from Exeter University and hold a Certified Diploma in NLP which has given me a valuable insight to effective communication strategies and how to get the best out of people. Having been a professional sailor in the Superyacht industry for over 4 years, I know what it takes to achieve the top level of personal performance. We all want to be the best we can be, it’s just a case of knowing what that means is and how to create it.

If with every successful placement we can deliver to our client a catalyst for further growth, whilst at the same time offering our candidates passion and purpose in their personal and professional lives, then our primary objective for Progress People will be on track for success; to help businesses grow with great people.
